Van Gogh and a New Horizon

Quite a number of years ago, Van Gogh's Wheatfield with Crows took on meaning for me.

I happened to have recently seen the original on display in Amsterdam, and noted intepretation of the piece including:

• The dark and black sky- symbolizing impending darkness & death.
• The crows flying in different directions - symbolizing a lack of direction.
• The road that seems to disappear - the ending of something with no set destination, even a sense of loss as the road goes to no specific location.

For a time the painting reflected a sense of "darkness" in my own life - and my own sense of unknown future.

My life no longer reflects this.

My life is vibrant and full.

Blessed.
